My story
This mountain of a challenge was placed into my hands while I searched purposefully for a cause to give my time to. My full focus was on helping women, both local in small communities & expat trapped OVERSEAS with none to very little support in some extremely vulnerable & violent situations. The Big Lent Walk 2024 eventually appeared in the algorithm so I signed up & read the details later & as usual it was the gate to my new path.
I can do what I do everyday out of necessity & raise awareness for CAFOD, Catholic Agency for Overseas Development. I found my passion, my comfort & my faith in walking.
