My story
Where are we walking?
On Saturday 8th March, starting at 10am from Our Lady's and St Anne's, the good people of Caversham, Tilehurst and Reading (and anyone else welcome!) are aiming to do a part of the 'Camino Ingles', the route taken by pilgrims across the centuries on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
Why are we walking?
CAFOD is an international development charity who reach out to people living in poverty with practical help, and the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. As a member of a truly global Church network with a presence in 165 countries, CAFOD really does incredible work in unbelievably difficult circumstances in places like Gaza, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Congo. We fight poverty and injustice wherever it is found, helping anyone regardless of faith, gender and ethnicity. And we campaign for global justice, so that every woman, man and child can live a full and dignified life.
Please help us to change lives through your donations.
Thank you
